America's Got Talent - Ellie White & Team Silhouettes
- Published on Monday, 19 September 2011 08:40
In the US, Ellie White has been dancing on America's Got Talent as part of the Silhouettes. The team have reached the top 4 of the competition! Ellie has spoken on the show about living with juvenile diabetes and Wolfram syndrome.
Ellie hopes that she will have an opportunity to talk about how children can have serious disorders and still live their dreams, as well as hoping to bring attention to juvenile diabetes and Wolfram syndrome and raise money to help find a cure. Their first dance is about her story - it is about how a little girl imagines that there is only one possibility, but she learns that there are many possibilities in her life.
Ellie has recently been signed by an agent and has a manager. She was also "noticed" by some producers from Atlanta and New York who contacted her manager and are putting together an Indie film (documentary/art film) about her story. They have begun filming and will continue once America's Got Talent is finished.
Ellie and her family hope that she will have the opportunity to share more of her story about her fight with juvenile diabetes and Wolfram syndrome and inspire others to live their dreams, bring awareness to the disorder and help get funding for research. They hope that this will help in the fight to find a cure for WS.
